For over 30 years, JTW Construction Company has been providing quality, trustworthy, and reliable contractor services to the Greater Chattanooga Area. JTW is owned by the father and son duo, Troy Wilson & Joshua Wilson. The company got its start in 1988 after Troy Wilson finished serving in the United States Military and founded T.D. Wilson Construction, building and renovating homes all over the Northwest GA area. Upon Joshua's graduation from the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UT-Chattanooga in 2024, the father and son duo partnered up under the name JTW Construction.

Since our founding, we have completed hundreds of new home builds and renovation projects. When we look back on our previous projects, we are filled with pride, believing our work made a positive impact on our community. Owner & Builder

Troy D. Wilson

Born and raised in Ringgold, GA, Troy has always held a commitment to improve the community through building beautiful homes for all in the area. Troy served in the U.S. National Guard and attended The University of Louisville. After working as a Commercial Construction Superintendent, he ventured out to start his own Construction Company. He broke ground on his first home build in 1988 in his hometown of Ringgold. Since then, he has led the construction of hundreds of homes and remodel projects.

Troy is the father to three daughters and one son, as well as the grandpa to ten granddaughters and two grandsons.

Project Manager & Estimator

Joshua Wilson

Son of Troy Wilson, Joshua inherited the same passion as his father to make the Chattanooga Area the best place in the country. Joshua attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. As a student, he was an active member of Associated General Contractors, Real Estate Club, Mocs for a Cure, and Sigma Chi. As a member of Sigma Chi, he held the position of Philanthropy Chairman and led the chapter to raise over $10,000 for various charities.

Joshua also competed in the 22' & 23' ASC Construction Competition, representing UTC among the top construction science students in the Southeast.

Through our four main phases of construction, we want to ensure consistent communication, transparency, and that your project's goals are met!

Design Development

The Design Development Phase involves a consultation to discuss your dream home. Whether your inspiration stems from Pinterest boards, HGTV, or a generic floor plan, we are here to help narrow everything down to fit your dream home!

Pre-Construction

Following design development, we will provide you with a very detailed cost estimate with a breakdown of all costs associated with the project as well as a schedule and timeline for completion.

Construction

After finishing all the necessary pre-construction tasks, it's time to roll up our sleeves, strap up our boots, and get to work! Throughout the building process, weekly progress reports and photographs are provided to you.

Project Completion

At the point of substantial completion we will begin the closeout process. Here we finish our punch-out tasks to ensure every little detail is perfectly completed. Product warranties are provided and a final walk-through is conducted.
